My practice reflects my own upbringing and experiences in a housing scheme in Glasgow. I have been exploring the gang culture and territoriality which exists in the city, and the reasons behind this problem. There is often a humorous or playful element to my work. I like to experiment with unusual and relevant materials, such as painting using Buckfast wine.
