My work looks at architecture and space, whether open or closed, interior or exterior: representing the physical space these buildings and structures inhabit. I aim to create abstract mixed media artworks which illustrates my interest in urban and industrial spaces. Specialising in printmaking, I use layers of colour, suggestions of depth and convey a purity of making to construct contemporary notions of 'space' and 'place'. The inspiration I take from physically construct space and the surrounding environment, for me, is almost a trigger for intervention and reclamation of urban spaces.
